As the bird flu pandemic spreads, what does this mean for our Thanksgiving menus this year?

I read that as "turkey" the bird instead of the country. I suppose that means sweet potato casserole all winter long!

Which leads me to wonder... bird flu has been found in Turkey, but has it been found in turkey?

Yes, the radio this morning was quite clear in making sure that we understood: They found H5N1 on a turkey farm (the bird) in Turkey.

I didn't realize the Turks were so into turkey, but hey. Maybe theirs is free-range---making it flavorful yet infection-prone.
