Parking rant

astra_nomerThere's this preschool next door to my work place. My timing with dropping DS1 off at school is such that I get here at minivan peak time. Said minivans tend to spill over parking allocated for the school so they park in our lot and fill up both sides of the narrow street between us and them. It's hard just getting past minivans entering and exiting and unloading and loading. This is exacerabated by construction on one of our buildings that has eliminated one of our lots. Today was especially bad, since everyone seems to have come to work early today so I had to scrounge for a space. It is such a pain parking here in the morning, but there doesn't seem to be anything I can do but grit my teeth until the spring, when the construction is due to finish.
