So here I am, looking up references on NASA ADS, and out of curiosity, plug in my own name. Not that I'm unfamiliar with the list. I've always been amused that my thesis shows up. But this time, I notice that there's a link to a pdf file for it. So I click on it.

Holy crap. There it is, my entire PhD thesis, scanned in for anyone on the interwebs to see, including the goofy acknowledgments pages.

(Actually, there are a couple of theses that I would love to see publicly available like this, but I was a good girl and actually published everything out of mine, so there.)

MIT's been putting theses online in PDF form for a while. I can download mine, for example, and that was 1999/2000.

I get the impression that my university has only recent put them all online. I'm pretty sure this wasn't around the year I graduated.
